HNEC announces all registered voters and accredited observers, candidates’ agents and media the addresses of the polling centers in the 22 cities, in 13 countries where Out-of-Country voting (OCV) will take place for the Council of Representatives (CoR) elections.

OCV will take place between 21-22 June 2014, from 08-20.00 in the 22 locations advertised (see the table). In total, 10.083 eligible Libyans registered on line for voting abroad for CoR elections.

By 17 June 2014, 3,027 accreditation badges have been issued by HNEC Electoral Districts and HNEC Central Administration for national and international observers and media, and for candidates’ agents. Almost 11% of the accredited staff are women.

HNEC acknowledges the important role played by observers, media and candidates’ agents in ensuring the transparency and integrity of the electoral process, and the credibility and acceptance of results. HNEC urges interested parties to fulfill accreditation requirements by the official deadline, i.e. 22 June 2014.
