Due to the large number of calls to the HNEC Call Center, through the free number 1441, which is allocated to respond to any registration inquiries or to provide help for those who want to change their polling centers, causing increased pressure on communication lines, resulting in delays in responding to citizens, who have raised some notes on the performance of the call center, due to that HNEC would like to clarify the following:
Currently, 15 phone lines are dedicated, at the call center, to respond to phone calls. Those phone lines are receiving an average of (1200) calls in one hour; each call takes an average of 3 minutes to review the problem and find solutions for it. Therefore, it is very difficult to respond to this large number of calls in one time. However, HNEC is currently expanding the network by increasing communication lines and increasing the number of working hours of its staff, from 12 hours a day to 14 hours a day, from 9:00 am up to 11:00 pm.
Further, the HNEC would like to confirm the non-existence of any defect in the registration system; and in case of any technical problems or difficulties citizens may find, we urge them to call 1441 and their problems will be solved.
