On Wednesday, March 3rd, 2021, the HNEC Chairman, Dr. Emad Al-Sayah, met H.E. Mr. Abraham Traore, the Ambassador of Burkina Faso, and his accompanying delegation, within the frame work of the international support for the democratic track in Libya.
During the meeting, the participants explored the means of electoral cooperation between the two EMBs of the two countries, that reflects the keenness of the two institutions to build strong relations among the members of the African Union Member States, besides the possibility to sign a memorandum of understanding between the two institutions for exchanging experiences and information related to the management of electoral process.
