The Board of Commissioners continues to follow up the procedures for its in-house arrangements and human resources needs in a meeting that was held by the member of the Board, Mr. Abdul Hakim Chaab on Wednesday to cover the anticipated electoral process.
The meeting, which comes in its second edition, and in the presence of the Director General of the Commission, Dr. Yahya Al-Jadid and a number of the Heads of departments, included a review of the needs of the Electoral Administration Offices in the regions in terms of staffing and human resources working in the field of elections and the possibility of utilizing local expertise in the implementation of the upcoming electoral process that will take place on December 24, 2021.
In his meeting, Mr. Abdul Hakim called for emphasis to be given to the training aspect and to raise the efficiency of staff in technical departments and collaborators to ensure the success of the anticipated electoral process in accordance with the standards in force within the Commission.
The Commission had previously announced its commitment to implementing Resolution No. 581 of 2020 issued by the Presidency Council, which mandated the allocation of a budget to implement the presidential and parliamentary elections scheduled to take place on December 24, 2021.
