On Wednesday February 24th, 2021, in Tripoli, the new President of the Presidential Council, Mr. Mohammad Al-Mnefi, received the HNEC Chairman, Dr. Emad Al-Sayah, in the presence of the Presidential Council Members: Mr. Abd-Allah Allafi, Mr. Musa Al-Koni, and Mr. Abdulhakim Al-Shaab, Member of HNEC Board.
During the meeting, they discussed some issues related to the electoral process and the latest developments in the upcoming democratic transfer scene; in addition to the ways supporting the HNEC, raising its readiness and providing an appropriate environment for the elections, scheduled in December of this year.
