The High National Elections Commission organized a dialogue session in the city of Jadu on the role of the media in enhancing electoral participation. The session was attended by several media personalities and representatives of media outlets in Nafusa Mountain and professors of the Faculties of Media.
The session, which was held under the supervision of the Al-Jabal 2 Electoral Administration Office, included a number of themes that covered the importance of the media in the electoral process and the significance of its presence during all the stages of the process, as well as strengthening the networking mechanisms between the Commission and media outlets as essential partners in enhancing the level of electoral awareness among citizens.
The dialogue session comes within a series of awareness-raising programmes and activities implemented by the HNEC through its General Administration and Field Electoral Offices in the regions and municipalities within the framework of its early preparations for the implementation of the expected elections on 24th December, 2021
