The Chairman of the High National Elections Commission followed up on the level of readiness of the Electoral Administration Offices to implement the upcoming elections and stood on the work demands and requirements and the level of preparations in the eastern region.

This came in a field visit to several Electoral Administration Offices, in which he was accompanied by the Head of Benghazi Electoral Administration Office, Mr. Ahmed Al-Jali.

The tour included standing on the final stages of the construction work of the “Electoral Administration Office of Al-Marj” and its preparations, as well as holding a meeting with the Head and the staff of the Office, Mr. Waseem Al-Absali, to review the requirements for the implementation of the work entrusted to them and to supplement any deficiencies.

The High National Elections Commission had announced earlier that it had begun its in-house arrangements and early preparations for the implementation of the next elections announced to take place on December 24, 2021.
