The training course implemented to support the role of Outreach Coordinators in the media field “the comprehensive journalism “by the High National Elections Commission was launched on Sunday in the city of Benghazi, in cooperation with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES).

This activity, which will last for five continuous days, targets the Outreach & External Relations Coordinators in the Electoral Administration Offices in the Eastern and Southeastern regions with the aim of raising the efficiency of the Public Outreach staff in the media field, and improving the quality of their performance in employing different forms of journalism to enhance electoral participation among citizens.

The headquarters of the High National Elections Commission in Tripoli witnessed on the 26th of this month the conclusion of a similar training course targeting the Public Outreach Coordinators in the Electoral Administration Offices of the western regions as part of the Commission’s Public Outreach and External Relations Department plan for the last quarter of this year. This comes within the framework of preparations for the next elections due to be held in December of the year 2021.
